I am inspired by the stunning scenery (light, colours, details and textures) around me on Bute and aim to capture some of that ‘beautiful’ in my art.

I love to show the wonder of light in my artworks and also enjoy adding splashes of colour.  When painting, I use paintbrushes and painting knives and predominantly work on hardboard which allows for interesting textures. I also work in ink.

I was born in South Africa in the beautiful Cape Winelands. I moved to Scotland in 2020 and currently live on the Isle of Bute. 

I paint and sketch a range of topics, including seascapes, landscapes and anything that grabs my attention. My work is available as prints, cards and coasters as well.
