Hand-knitted cap-sleeve pullover in a gorgeously soft yet chunky yarn blend of Merino wool, cashmere and silk.

I developed this pattern because I get a bit hot in fully sleeved jumpers, and this offers a practical combination of core warmth and arm freedom for those of us who like to exert ourselves in the great outdoors, and not get our sleeves caught on fencing wire or armfuls of kindling!

This was knitted mostly whilst hunkered down in the dunes around the bays of Soroby and Balevullin last summer, often before a quick dip in the colder-than-it-looks Hebridean blue seas.

One size fits most – it’s spacious! That’s me in the photos and I’m a UK size 10 -ish. Hand wash.
